Here are some other fun projects and pieces I've found myself in:
"Waters" (Soundtrack Piece)
"Water," written by Michael Rambo, was a submission piece for a love scene in an independent film. The text is modified from the last chapter in Song of Songs by Solomon. Vocalist Brynn Boyd.
Erinn Springer (Musical Artist)
Erinn is a super-tallented individual who grew up in Mid-West Wisconsin. We had a great time compiling her material for her new three song EP in June and July of 2011.
Susan Quaranta
Susan Quaranta and I had met through a mutual friend, and began recording in the Spring of 2011. We then decided to expand some of her songs with other instrumentation. It is wonderful to experience the story of others through their music, and to be involved with the creative process. She is going on to write music for other performers.
The Belt Dance (Grain Belt Beer)
This was designed as a blitz promotion for Grain Belt Beer that encouraged people to submit their own videos of themselves doing the "Belt Dance" (unofficially modeled after Aaron Rogers of the Green Bay Packers). The Music was written and recorded in 1 hour and 45 minutes, modeled after the 'epic' style of the seasonal Super bowl accolades. Our collaborative group is a loose firm of very gifted entrepreneurs that meets once a week to prod each other on, scope out new opportunities and ship projects. The fun has only begun!
Folgers (Anti Jingle)
Many people like the taste of Folgers coffee in the morning. I admittedly like the taste of a fresh cup myself. But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth when companies take advantage of people to make money. I am a firm believer that we can have legitimate win-win business relationships, and have each side make a sustainable living wage. So when I heard through a friend about the annual jingle competition, I chimed right in! Yes, we actually submitted this to Folgers.
Could I write music for you?
